Being the poor, simple-minded fool that I am, I had thought that playoff matches would be held at the usual time: 7PM. Unfortunately, I have just been informed that the Byrnes-FM match will kick-off at 6PM. SIX PM! What kind of bone-headed moron is in charge of this? There are playoff games starting at times all over the clock! 6, 6:30, 8 ??

Am I blowing off steam? Yeah! Why? There is no way in h*** I can make a 6PM kickoff on a Monday. I'm booked solid... no... make that over-booked solid.

Hurst and Co. will have to cheer on the Lady Jackets without me. Lord only knows how close to 7 I'll get there. This is ridiculous. They'd never do this to football.

Be glad you're not a Daniel or Camden fan... we're starting at 5PM at Daniel. Something about Camden wanting to get home early...

Coaches always negotiate the time, typically with the host being gracious to the visitor's wishes.

Blue Ridge plays at 5:30. Pretty early for a play-off game but from what I hear, there is another play-off game directly after. like a Blue Ridge vs. Blythewood double header.

Let's take into consideration these student-athletes and not the fans..Afterall, we are here for the kids. The Camden Daniel game is starting at 5:00, but not because Camden simply wants to get back home. They have several girls taking the AP Statistics exam the next day and it is better to get them home at a respectable hour. The Camden fans do not mind the early start! Anyways, lets just keep in mind why we are here and sometimes the kids themselves need accomodations.
