Goal scored by I. Berry. She had scored a previous goal that was called back on a "dubious" offsides call (one of many during the game). The refs were some of the worst I've seen all season. They were calling offsides based on where the player was when she received a pass, not where she was prior to the pass. One yellow was given out to one of our players for asking how much time was left near the end of the game. Are the refs that work playoff games supposed to be the best we have? If so, these needed to be reevaluated.

Probably a bad term to use. To me a Semi-Cheap Goal is when a defender makes a very bad play allowing the other team to score on a goal from a shot they should not have been allowed to take. It is not to imply the goal scorer did not earn the goal, in fact she made a heads up play to capitalize on the Defenders error and then she made a beautiful shot just out of reach of the Keeper and just under the crossbar.

I don't think those two teams could possibly meet until Monday.

And both would be very fortunate to still be standing by Monday.

Kids play sports because they find it fun. Eliminate the fun and soon you eliminate the kid.
