Wasn't Upper State on TUESDAY with the State Finals on Friday last year, and years before?

The schedule up now has Girls Upper State in Monday. . .

Yes, for some reason it was changed this year. I should think that most teams would be unhappy with this change. It does not give teams another day to practice between Friday's and Monday's games, unless you want to do it on Mother's Day weekend.
I don't remember seeing anything that suggested a change, asking for input from ADs and coaches. It probably happened, but I don't remember seeing anything.
Funny how it normally takes moving heaven and earth for the HSL to make a change; unless of course they want to make it themselves.

As posted after the SCHSSCA Winter Clinic in January, the SCHSL moved the Semifinals up a day (Girls from Tuesday to Monday and Boys from Wednesday to Tuesday) in order to better select officials for the State Championship games.

I stand corrected as to notification...but still think it stinks. Seems that selection of officials and ability to prepare for the game should be balanced in some fashion. Just my opinion.
