Each region 7 and 8 team won their first round matches except the 1-0 Fort Dorchester loss to Spring Valley. Is this a sign of the changing of the times? And has competition in the lower state dropped due to certain teams moving to the upstate?

Region 6 has no power.
Watch out next year as region 5 will be completely different

I assume Aiken and South Aiken will keep their rivalry game. How about with North Augusta? Also herd that Midland Valley was having teams for boys and girls too.

no. certain reg 7 & 8 teams stepped it up a couple notches in anticipation of cesa taking over the lowcountry.

I hope noone gets offended by this but I haven't been very impressed by any of the teams this year. It seems like play is slower than normal and we've all started going a lot more vertical in attack.

you mean slow as in passing it alot?

no, haha. i would be happy with more passing. what i mean is that it looks like the ball doesn't make much progress. For instance, some teams have started to try to control the ball more but they don't check to now. This just makes they game into a stop and go indeaver that seems slower to me. Not everyone is guilty. Its just something i've seen more of this year.

Aiken and South Aiken will keep their rivalry going. North Augusta will be in region 5 also. I expect South Aiken and N. Augusta to play non region games. Aiken is trying to play all Aiken County schools either as a match or scrimmage.
