Great point. The B-C girls have had a great run and Congaree Rapids has proved to be an excellent feeder to the high school program. There certainly is something to be said for girls who play year-round together, translating into success at the high school level.

One other note though.

After reviewing the 3A archives of past high school champions, I noticed that it is usually Riverside who gets the better of B-C once we get into the middle of May.

.....and where do the majority of those Riverside girls play their club soccer?

There is certainly value in ALL club soccer programs!

Kids play sports because they find it fun. Eliminate the fun and soon you eliminate the kid.
