The SC ODP 92 Boys have reached a milestone for their age group by qualifying for Nationals in January (location to be announced) with a record of 3-1 during Region Camp at the University of Alabama. The team played with precision to defeat LA, MS and GA giving up only 1 goal while scoring 9 goals. On day four, they recorded their only loss during a match against OK where the score ended up being OK 3 - SC 1.
This team had 12 players selected for pool games and seven held over for Region III team evaluation. Great job by a very talented group of dedicated players lead by Coach Sam Okpodu of Newberry College and his ODP assistants.
