SCSoccer.com would like to thank Kenneth Massey of the Massey Ratings for once again providing the Palmetto State an unbiased and totally objective view of South Carolina high school soccer.

Hey CJ, who had the harder schedule this year???

That #3 offense is going to take a hit after losing that COC Uber All Star! She was fantastic this year and especially so at the game as you reported. You and I were better coaches for having her on our team.

For four years she has had to endure people commenting on her huge goal numbers with "yeah, but look at their competition" or other similar comments meant to discredit her records. It was beautiful poetic justice to watch her do what she does best in the COC and I enjoyed every moment of it.

Now about the Massey Ratings, I accept that we were behind Wando in offense...but who is Patrick Henry Academy???

jk. Obviously it will take a team effort to replace all of her goals but the girls are excited about next year and are already working hard to get ready for the challenge.

By the way, you should have seen that team that SC put on the field for that game. You and the rest of the selection committee did a great job. Wouldn't you love to have all of those girls on one team for just one season?!?!

Steve said practicing with them was a dream...at least for the little bit they did get to practice. Hardly a duffed ball in the lot.

Naysayers, the few of them, are long gone after that performance! Click on "Public Schools Only" or something like that and you get a better idea of how well the TLH family did this year against common teams.

It's fun selecting those kids when you don't have a dog in the fight. I hope that'll never happen for me (no dog that is) again! Congrats on the good run and keep it up in 2009 bud. You da man!

Aw, man...I was going to keep that kinda quiet...didn't want those Wando girls to realize we're slippin' up on 'em!
