Just a tidbit in regards to Anthony Stovall:
Anthony Stovall (Ridge View HS 2001) started at outside back from the Cleveland City Stars and was a key player in their USL D2 Championship season. They claimed the title with a 2-1 decision over the Charlotte Eagles. In addition, Anthony was named the Stars 2008 MVP as voted on by the fans of Cleveland.
Lexington HS product Hunter Gilstrap was also on the Cleveland City Stars team as well. Stovall was the High School Sports Report's 2001 State Player of the Year, while Gilstrap was named the Class 4A Defensive Player of the Year by the HSSR.
