Any South Carolina teams taking a long haul this weekend for a R3PL match?

Gas is certainly at a premium, in fact I don't think there's a drop left in York County!

It will be interesting to see the backlash of traveling soccer amidst $4.50 gas prices! Geeeeshhhh, might need to go back to playing a "local" schedule as in the old Lowcountry and Trident days. I guess the Midlands would have the Mid-District and such. Cannot rationalize like competition 100 miles away vs. similar competition 15 miles away.

I drove by five gas stations on my way home from the Fort Mill football game tonight. Four of them were out of gas.

Took trip to Aiken today. Gas prices in Columbia was around $4.49/gal while Aiken was only $3.95/gal.

What's the highest you've seen?

I feel so out of the loop, lol. The gas stations I passed here in Charleston were all 3.69ish.

Yeah, looks like we still have it relatively good in the Charleston area...haven't driven around today, but as of yesterday I saw prices anywhere from $3.49 to $3.99. The crazy thing is you see stations within a block or two of each other with a $.30 difference in prices. Seems like a lot of places are just testing to see how much they can get away with.

I think this "hysteria" pertained only to the Charlotte market and prices were back close to normal by Sunday.
