Good to see Farragut is going back. Interesting to see Knoxville West is in it. They beat Farragut in OT in the playoffs last year. They are from the same city and some say they have a rivalry going, especially since Knox West has really started competing. It is good around here to have a third good/great soccer team from a public school every year, normally it is Farragut and Bearden. I hope they can stay competitive. They are in a slighlty easier district than Farragut for the regular season, so they generally meet in the playoffs and I think last year was the first time in awhile if ever that Knox West has beat them. I guess we will see if last year was a fluke.

Thanks to Coach Dick Hiller and the Chapin Eagles for filling the vacant spot in the Palmetto Cup! Chapin will be an excellent addition to the field!

Look for the Palmetto Cup digital sign in downtown Columbia on the marquee board off Blossom Street -- coming from Cayce towards USC's Greek Village and Colonial Life Arena.
