The second day of the 17th Annual Palmetto Cup is now underway at The Cage. Knox West (TN) are battling Lexington, and on 13 minutes we are still goalless. West have outshot the Wildcats 7-0 thus far and have had the better of play.

Wish I was there to watch Know West. From what you have posted appears to be a solid squad.

GOAL! Knox West 1:0 Lexington

On 29 minutes from The Cage, Ben Cooper finds Patrick Maloney who nets the first goal of the day. Knox West have not been scored upon thus far in the event.

GOAL! Norman North (OK) 1:1 Eastside

Under way at Northside Middle School as well now. Eastside are awarded the first corner of the match and a header by Cory White finds its way over the crossbar. A nice save by the Eagles' keeper James Garilas shortly thereafter and a scary moment as Eastside's sweeper Sebastian Restrepo finds the post as he hustled back in defense. But he stayed on the pitch and recovered. Brandon LittleAxe finds the back of the net on Norman North's second shot on goal. Within three minutes, though, Eastside's Carlos Berrio receives a pass through from Matt Henderson and sends it past Timberwolf goalkeeper Nick Nance to even it at 1:1 on 13 minutes.

GOAL! Norman North (OK) 2:1 Eastside

On thirty-eight minutes, Norman North's Khalil Benaliouhaj gets away from the Eastside back line and pushes it past James Garilas for its second goal in three attempts on goal. Rajat Ghosh sent the pass to the goal scorer for the assist. Halftime now ... the visitors from Oklahoma have the edge 2:1.
