Henning Named To Top Drawer Soccer National Team Of The Week

Greenville, S.C. -- Furman freshman Coleton Henning has been named to the Top Drawer Soccer National Team of the Week after netting two goals in the Paladins’ double overtime victory over UNC Greensboro on Saturday.

The Shawnee, Kan., product capped a two-goal performance with a game-winning header in the 108th minute to help Furman down the Spartans 3-2 and extend its winning streak to five matches and unbeaten streak to six matches. It marked the second straight game-winner for Henning who
has scored five goals in his last three matches.

The forward, who garnered SoCon Player of the Week honors last week and SoCon Player of the Month honors for September, leads the league in goals (6) and total points (14).

The Paladins continue SoCon play traveling to Georgia Southern on Tuesday at 2 p.m. before hosting Davidson on October 10, at 7 p.m.
