Congratulations to Coach Cesar Robles on the Lady Trojans Region 3 4A volleyball title. Cesar also coaches Northwestern's varsity girls soccer team. Last night he won his first volleyball state play-off game.
Rumor is that Coach Robles is trying to decide what to coach during the Winter. Since there is no girls wrestling, I guess he will have to move into basketball.
Looks like basketball is not an option for Robles. The athletic administration got a copy of a video tape with him playing in a faculty vs the students game a couple of years ago! I did hear that he his trying to use his volleyball success to get him a shot to be the water boy for the 2012 US Women's Beach Volleyball Team. We are pulling for you Vato! If he leaves does NHS look to the Turkish Women's National Soccer Team for a coach?
And he now has a challenge for the soccer team to one up volleyball. That said, he has and continues to do an outstanding job for NW all the way around.
