How many girls on your upcoming Spring 2009 girls high school team, played R3PL (U15 - U18) this current fall season?
Here's the girls 4A breakdown from up here:
Clover - 1 Fort Mill - 1 Nation Ford - 1 Rock Hill - 1 Lancaster - 0 Northwestern - 0 South Pointe - 0 York - 0
Kids play sports because they find it fun. Eliminate the fun and soon you eliminate the kid.

I'm pretty sure TL Hanna has 71 or 72 girls playing in the Region III Premier League. Most are also on the US National Team, or secretly play in the Bundesliga, but that information is slightly off topic.
The number could be slightly higher, but I don't want to give an inflated estimate.

Come on Dale. Start counting on your fingers and toes and give us some numbers for those Aiken schools.

I think we have 2 on CUFC's premier team, but I could be wrong. I just ask the girls to have fun and don't really pay attention to wins, club, conditioning, tactical adjustments, fundraising, team dinners, technical emphasis, award nominations, North/South, or region trophies. I just like the fresh air and exercise.
Is Athena A premier?

No, it is not.U15 thru U18 girls teams in Georgia each have 4 teams in the premier league. They are the top 4 finishers from the state championships. What you see in Athena A does not include these teams. The competition is strong in Georgia.

Ok. Then we have two...maybe. So pretty much we're hoping to fight with Swansea for the final playoff spot in Region 5.

I love how Dale Jr. has adopted Ronald Reagan's philosophy of "speak softly, but carry a big stick" mentality! SA should win the Region. I just hope Swansea can win one region game. However, we have been working hard and should be competitive.

I believe that was Teddy Roosevelt. The phrase was used to describe Roosevelt's amendment to the Monroe Doctrine and his policy of intervention in Central and South America.

Dale,
I know how it is with ACL surgeries, but what is it like with premier players? Ya'll should do well in AAA with or without premier players. Wish you could drop to AA so we could have someone other than BE take all the glory!

Teddy Roosevelt was a "lay up".
Need to do much better than that to attain "Chico" status.

As you know hard head, there a various levels of play in NC that don't quite match up evenly with SC.
But R3PL is R3PL.
Fort Mill has one girl playing R3PL and she plays for Charlotte Soccer Club 91 Blue.

It would have been much more entertaining if you'd mixed up some in the middle just to see who read it all =(.

Nope. My mistake. West Ashley should have been at the top. and West Ashley is West Ashley (Fort Mill's first round Viking Cup opponent).

the top 2 levels of nc soccer are better than the top sc league as a whole.
R3PL is R3PL for the top 6 or 7 teams in the league.
and "butter bean" i do know which team your 1 region player plays for.i also know that you have a few on the ft mill girls that could play and start on a few R3PL teams.as do nation ford and clover.

shhhhhhhh, you were supposed to keep the international experience on the DL.
I can always count on my good buddy from across town to make sure that the bulls eye is secured squarely on my back!!!
Now let me see if I can get it off and put it on Kevin Czar without him noticing...

what may give a good indication of how good high school teams are is how many club players are on a varsity team.it would be interesting to see the make up of a columbia or greenville high schools compared to a lancaster or dillon school. rock hill high 1 region III player and 1 challenge player.that is it.2 that has some club in the past but does not play anymore.
