I know softball and baseball rules were changed and i thought soccer was too. How many players can a coach work with at a time before season starts? It used to be 3 and now what is it--i have heard 7..is that true?

From the '08-'09 SCHSL Rules Section:

Organized practice is defined as the gathering of a coach(es) and more than the number of
student-athletes (per sport program) listed on the chart below for the purpose of teaching
sport specific skills. It also includes the use of school facilities by more student-athletes (per
sport program) than those listed on the chart below:
