Preseason polls will be released at the SCHSSCA Winter Clinic on January 30.

I would like to throw my 2 cents worth

Many teams can be in contention this year. The upstate looks heavy with Chapin moving in the mix. The lower state seems up for grabs.Socastee, Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head, B-C, could all be in it at the end.

I think a team that many is forgetting about is South Aiken. This will be their first year in 3A and were very competitive in 4A. I beleive they bring back a huge core of starting line up and their JV players from last year will add to a pretty deep team. Can they compete--I think so--will they win it? yet to be determined. I think it comes down to coaching.

What does everyone seem to think? I would place SA in the top 10 in 3A

I have to agree with newby.

SA is going to make an impact in 3A and a team to watch along with Socastee BC Dreher and others.

I have seen Dreher mentioned several times and I agree historically they have had a strong program, but aren't they going through another coaching change and didn't they graduate some really good players in the last two seasons? Are they reloading with another strong group or is there going to be a drop off for a while?
Also, I'm seeing alot of the usual suspects in both upper and lower state being mentioned. Does anybody know of any darkhorses in 3A statewide?

No way chapin can be number two. thay lost so many players from ast years team. that also goes for riverside being so high.

so then i guess its settled that eastside is the favorite from the north and the south will be fought out between south aiken and socastee.

anyone know anything about the rest of socastee's team besides belair and watson.

what kind of talent does South Aiken have?
