Quote: With these early season scrimmages it's sometimes really hard to get a feel for what a team may have. I'm sure coaches use these for just what they should. A opportunity to see what kids can do without a regular season or especially a region game on the line. I'm not saying the coaches are playing around or don't care, but may be looking at some players in certain positions or formations just to see what they may possibly work towards. Of course it's nice to get a win instead of a loss but I say to a degree take scrimmages with a grain of salt.
I agree with what you said. It's better to see how some of the kids will act in certain scenarios and know what kind of talent you've got, than to create ball-hogs or something worse.
If Blythewood won why is it shown in the scoreboard that they tied, shouldnt it be a win for Blythewoodsince they went into pk's. Coach Eudy the pk count was BHS:3 CN:2 Blythewood's keeper stopped 3 out of 5 pk's and one of the players for Blythewood missed and one didnt get to shoot.
Technically since the rules of the game weren't applied in the form of Overtime then it ended in a tie and the PKs were basically a form of practice for both squads.
