Only goal scored by senior Sara Ann McCain off a header in the first half. Great game by both squads and a close one all the way. Excellent intensity and fun to watch.

Wren is a very well-coached, talented, athletic team. The score was 2-0 at the half, with Wren scoring at the 16' and 23' minute marks. Westside scored at the 68' minute mark and the final minutes were hectic for both teams. Of note, this was the first goal Westside has ever scored against Wren at the varsity level. The region matches between Wren and TL Hanna this year should be very exciting.

Congrats to Coach Burriss and his Lady 'Canes on the win!
