Emerald vs. Cardinal Newman Game
Emerald High was in for a big surprise yesterday when Cardinal Newman showed up for a JV Game. There was a lapse in communication somewhere along the way, and Emerald was unaware of the scheduled game. I wanted to commend those in charge for making adjustments because Cardinal Newman had traveled approx 1.5 hours to play. Great job to Brock Scott for getting the officiating together and Coach KC Dunbaker for getting a team fielded in record time. Thank you - Cardinal Newman for waiting patiently with a 30 minute delay of game.
It ended up being a competitive game for both sides. Cardinal Newman won 1-0.
