Thanks for asking. Rough so far but may have just turned the corner. Been through swelling, blood clot threat, infection threat, and throwing up pain meds. Not easy, but my steadfast poise is.....actually, I feel pretty helpless and heartbroken. She'll make it, and she'll be tougher for it and probably appreciate everything more now. Amazing to me how many there out there who have been through this.



We have a kid at Hilton Head Prep that just came back from her second one in 8 months. She did the right knee in a basketball game in December of 2007 and then did the left one playing soccer in August of 2008.

Clover wanted this one badly, after losing twice last year on PKs. The Lady Blue Eagles tried hard, but Taylor Parker broke through for a score from a hard angle to the left of the goal at 62:00. Hard-fought contest on both sides.

SA played really good. This was a great game to watch. The refs called a great game, you hardly noticed they were there. No cheap shots for penalties. SA is a classy team, very well coached. Good luck the rest of the year...except, of course, when Dreher goes down to your pitch.
