Tonight at the Hungry Howie's Invitational:
Dutch Fork 1-0 Irmo
On Irmo's prom night, 12 outmanned freshmen and sophomores left it all on the field and gave Dutch Fork a great match. It was wonderful soccer and a wonderful atmosphere at WC Hawkins Stadium. We are extremely proud of those 12 young ladies!

Kids play sports because they find it fun. Eliminate the fun and soon you eliminate the kid.

Was that one of those "Oh, crap. We planed this tournament on Prom Night!" moments?" I seem to get one of those a year.

They moved the prom date this year from what it was in the past and we had scheduled the tournament over a year earlier based on the old prom date.
