@ Woodruff

Palmetto 1
Woodruff 2
2-1 @ half

Woodruff controlled the game in the first half. Second half could have gone either way. Woodruff struck first around the 15th min, dylan pressured the goalie and deflected the kick out matt then chipped the shot from around 30 out. Around the 25th minutes matt played a give and go to dylan and finished the break away to go up 2-0. Palmetto then scored around the 35th minute. Game was well played, but rather dirty. Refs were some of the better ones we have had. Good luck to these teams.

Goals:
Matthew Orias 2

Dylan Schuette 2

Hanahan defeated Barnwell in PKs yesterday 3-2. The score was tied 1-1 at the end of overtime. Good game by both teams. We play again next week, it should be another fun game.

Congratulations to Eau Claire on the victory. Another one of those teams that has suffered through a lot lopsided losses in the last several years yet continue to come out and play hard and keep a good attitude.

I second that. Congrats to Eau Claire!

Was at a EC game last year where they were beaten soundly and never showed any sign of getting down or lack of sportsmanship which a lot of teams in the area could learn from, they just kept playing with their heads up. More than one player from our team spoke of how the Shamrocks were still having fun and staying classy in defeat.

I agree about Eau Claire. I officiated one of their matches earlier this season and while you can question some of their tactics, their sportsmanship and hustle was never an issue. A lot of teams can learn about sportsmanship from these guys. Congrats Shamrocks.

Oak Ridge TN Tournament

Fort Mill 1
Christian Bros (TN) 0

Christian Bros, #1 in TN, #11 in nation and a very good squad. Tyler Vukoder's goal mid way thru 1st half on a direct kick is game winner. FM holds on for dear life in second half to earn a VERY BIG WIN.
