Yeah, why would anyone be using soccer, baseball, or softball fields during the last weeks of spring sports season?

Been doing this for 13 years now...never in my life had a game called on account of fertilizer before.

At least, not the store-bought kind.

Just reading your posts over time it sure seems that your school and program can really muck things up on a continuous basis. Good luck down there in the swamps of Lake Moultrie.

Eh, a little muck-wading builds character, my dad always said...if you don't believe it, just look at the folks who have known nothing but dry pavement all their lives.

Coach Chass, not that I miss driving to Moncks Corner from Mt P, but was looking forward to seeing your team play again. It was great seeing them all play so well. Your goalie made some near impossible saves last night. Wow, the bullet she punched up over the goal was incredible.

Your kids have to be the most sportsmanlike athletes of any sport I've ever seen and I've seen a lot. Your positive coaching did not go unnoticed by the Wando parents and your example is mirrored by your players. We enjoyed watching them play.

Thanks, WB...the girls were really disappointed about tonight's match. They look forward to playing Wando--it's a great opportunity for them to push themselves and develop, and the Wando girls have always played us with class and sportsmanship no matter how close or lopsided the score has been. Last night was probably the best and hardest we have played all season--the best always seem to bring out the best in us.

My apologies to all the Wando players, coaches, and fans for the district goof!!

Silly little man. It is only 4 months to football. If you put fresh fertilizer (hopefully not REALLY fresh if you know what I mean) they will have beautiful green fields for the boys of fall. Try putting down fertilizer in September and watch how long you are employed.
