I heard this morning that Some High School sports has been cancelled in the states of TX and LA. Wow... that would be a total bummer. With Mauldin closing their school with a little scare this week, it has me a little worried. Surley this could not happen in SC.

Even a little closer to home, Alabama highschool sports association has cancelled all athletic events for the rest of the spring.

Good for them!!! It seems like every other year there's something. The media simply takes every piece of news and hypes/blows it out of proportion.
Maybe this makes sense for Tx since they are on the front lines of this. But not SC.....

Ridiculous...more people have died from type A and B flu other than the swine flu so far this season.
About 20,000 Americans die on average per year from the complications of flu.
Swine Flu stats as of today:
TOTAL COUNTS 141 cases 1 death
Where is the epidemic or pandemic here?

We have had our first swine flu casualty...we had to cancel next week's match between Byrnes and Hanna so that Byrnes could make up this week's match with Mauldin. Or maybe I should say that we just postponed it to the following Monday.
