The Mauldin starting team played some excellent, forceful soccer to overwhelm Westside in the first ten minutes, scoring four goals. Excluding a short period at the start of the second half, players off the bench then demonstrated the depth of the Mauldin team.

Great job by the Lexington girls. At the start of the season, not many people thought Coach Fryland's team would get this far. Now the Lady Wildcats are one win away from another appearance in the Great 8.

The Broome/Greenville Tech game was won by Broome 1-0. Broome had the majority of the shots on goal but was denied by poor shooting and the defense of Tech. The loan goal came on a deflection from a free kick. First home playoff victory for the Lady Centurions and only the second playoff victory in school history.
