saw on the news, Bearden was down 3-0 to Hendersonville... Looks like the Farragut/Bearden dominance is over? will be only the 3rd time since 2001 that Farragut or Bearden didn't win state. Farragut has 4, Bearden has 3. Brentwood has the other 2.
also, they interviewed Farragut's coach.. He said he still believes Farragut is the best team in the nation..... "one mistake cost us the national title" I don't think they should be shunned just because of a loss, but at the same time, they didn't win their own state, so how can you say they are the best? The box score I saw, had Farragut with 11 shots on goal to Centennial's 2. Farragut had 3 great looks in the final moments of the game, but the goalie came up huge.
