Looks like solid players but would have been nice to see a Carolina girl! Rumors have it the Winthrop Men's head coach in stands at Fort Mill/Rock Hill boys game last night for an extended period.

I can verify that both the Winthrop men's head coach and assistant coach were in attendance at the Palmetto Cup last week in Columbia.

You are correct, Winthrop currently has former Northwestern Trojan and All-State selection Tiana Tallant on the roster.

Winthrop women with two more wins this weekend to move into a tie for first place in the Big South. The Lady Eagles host the conference's other first-place team, Charleston Southern, this Wednesday at 4 PM.
