Elizabeth Lambert should be banned!

Read her profile on the UNM athletic website. It basically says that she is a THUG!

In her defense, she did catch an elbow to the gut before she punched the girl in the back and she had her shorts tugged before she grabbed the ponytail.

Apparently those Mormons aren't angels either.

Considering she is focusing on occupational therapy it looks like she should have a few clients from her playing days.

The SID went in and changed her profile. I wish I would have copied what was there earlier this morning. Terms like "aggressive", "force in the middle" and "physical" were removed.

Heard she was suspended

Ho-lee crap. She needs to be kicked off the team, not just suspended. No coach or team should want that sort of person playing for or with them.

She is "indefinitely suspended". I assume this carries over to next year since the Lady Lobos are done for 2009.

#2. If you read that profile, she seems like the golden student-athlete. The only thing missing is her mission work in the Congo

note to center ref - in the future don't be afraid to show a card early in the game. take control of the game from the start and do your job to protect players from serious injury by agressive play. you should be suspended, too!

Sportscenter showed a montage of about 7 or 8 fouls committed by Lambert, each one dirtier than the next. Her playing days should be over.
