The DSC U18B were scheduled to play both DISA teams today. Identical 1-0 scores are posted for both games with DSC winning both. However the score for the second game was posted before it was scheduled to be played. Were these games actually played or are these forfeit scores? These scores have an impact on the seedings for State Cup.

If it is a forfeit, it is incorrectly recorded as 1-0. A forfeit should be 3-0. The following quote is from the South Carolina State Challenge League (SCSCL) 2009-2010 League Rules and Guidelines:
“A team that forfeits a game shall have their score recorded as a 0-3 loss with no points, thereby awarding the other team a 3-0 win and 3 points.”

DSC 91 won 2-0. Although the score is incorrect on the league web site, it does not affect the state cup seeding.
