There is no easy group, but Group A looks pretty stout. 2009 4A and 3A State runners up, Wando and South Aiken and JL Mann and Spartanburg.

If I've done the cut & paste and and math correctly, here is how the Viking Cup brackets stack up in terms of average 2009 Massey Rating:
Bracket C: 1.330
Bracket A: 1.268
Bracket B: 1.134
Bracket D: 1.112

I agree with Mavs Dad, Bracket A has the heavyweights.
JL Mann vs South Aiken is probably the best first round match.
Clover vs TL Hanna rematch of last season's second round state play off game should be a classic as well.
