From The State:
CLEMSON - Clemson's fourth men's soccer coach in program history and third in less than a year will be Mike Noonan, coach at Brown University for 14 seasons.
Noonan, 47, replaces former Clemson assistant coach Phil Hindson, who stepped in after Trevor Adair's resignation in June. Clemson went 6-12-1 under Hindson and missed the NCAA tournament for the third consecutive season.
The Bears won eight Ivy League Championships and appeared in the NCAA tournament 10 times under Noonan. In 2009, Brown was runner-up in the Ivy and reached the second round of the NCAA tournament, losing to North Carolina 2-0.
Noonan had a 160-70-31 record at Brown, and 10 of his players have been drafted by Major League Soccer.
In addition to his tenure at Brown, Noonan was coach for four seasons at New Hampshire and for two at Wheaton College.
