Anyone know why 9+ players have left the team?

Haven't heard, but think I have it narrowed down to two possibilities...

1) 9+ players are tired of losing and don't see any changes coming that will improve the situation

OR

2) 9+ players are not tired of losing and don't like the changes coming that will improve the situation

so 9+ are leaving to play at other schools or are they quiting? there's been no mention of this on GA and NC message boards and usually these boards have posting regarding clemson soccer.

so sweet feet, tell us more that you know.

Wish I knew more, maybe someone with a daughter on the team or a person with some inside knowledge would shed some light on the situation.

Would be interesting to know who they are too... Hershey's recruits or Brambles?

I heard that Lipsitz at KY (formerly Charlotte)dismissed 13 players after the season. Not sure if all were on some type of aid or not, but still a big number.

Could it be a way for HS to buy time by saying he has to build using his type of players? Would be curious to know the breakdown by class. How large is next years class?

If the exodus sweet feet reported is accurate, is it possible we may not know how big next year's class is until after the signings next month? While most schools that size are concentrating on the 2011 class, I've heard rumor that Clemson may now be looking for more 2010's.

Where do you find any quality 2010 players this late in the game? 2011 that's a hole different story.

Technically yes, however coaches will not talk to players that have given a verbal.
