Schedule is finally up! Surprised to see Fort Mill is sending 7 teams to Irmo! That’s over 25% of the entire field from one school district. I think it speaks well for the programs that 4 middle school teams are making the trip to test themselves against a bunch of high school JV teams!

Really looking forward to the Gold Hill middle vs. Nations Ford JV girls’ game. Should be a preview of what we in Fort Mill will see for the next few years. Lot of Club teammates and rivals will be playing in that one!

Would be nice to see FMMS vs. GHMS in final, some of these girls have been playing with/against each other since "bumble bee" ball. You know that’s where everyone swarms around the ball and then when it pops out the swarm just move to the ball again!
(Odds are low but could see same thing on boy side with FMMS vs GHMS boys too!)

Does anyone know the dates for the postseason tournament?

Irmo Preseason JV Tourney Schedule

Should be interesting to see FMHS JV girls this year. Team is mostly same with a few new 9th graders one of whom is very very good striker. They were something like 22-1 with 20 shutouts last year. Won both Irmo tournaments too. No pressure coach!

FYI... This is a Fundraising Tournament... therefore, Team Coaches, Players, and Children under 8 are Free. All others note: Admission is $5 for Friday, $8 for Saturday, or $10 for a weekend pass... Per Person. Only 09-10 South Carolina High School League Passes (Coaches plus 1 person) will be accepted. Concession stands available at all fields. Limited number of T-shirts available at Irmo Practice Fields. Hope to see you there!

Another great tournament put on by Irmo. It was great to see all of the middle school girls do so well.

Was a lot of fun! Fort Mill took home 1st,and 2nd in Black and 2nd in Yellow on the girls side! Got to see the FMMS vs GHMS I thought it would end up in! Seems funny to drive that far to play a local game!! GHMS girls got a good scare from a very solid BC team. Looking for a very good season after what we saw this weekend!

Thanks Chief- we were very excited playing you guys and made a couple of errors in the last 8 mins that were critical. Great Games, Great Company and Great Teams- hope you guys have a fantastic season.

That's ok our girls were a little off to start the game ended up playing with a little panic for most the 1st half.
Liked the BC girls pre-kickoff foot action made them look organized and focused. Their striker (#18) I think was the only striker to give our sweeper (the bracket MVP) a real challenge on every play!
