Brookland-Cayce's Devin Wagner uses a flip throw-in during a game against A.C. Flora on Tuesday. Wagner also scored the winning goal in overtime.

Pinewood Preparatory School has informed Brookland-Cayce High School and the 2011 Palmetto Cup that it has had to withdraw from this year's tournament. The schedule above has been updated.

Tournament stipulations state:

* Any forfeit will be recorded as 3-0, with 10 points going to the winner.

***Since Pinewood Prep has forfeited their tournament matches, the team that would play in the 11th place match, will automatically receive a win and not play on Thursday.

why is all of Pinewood's matches a forfeit?!!!!

Did Pinewood's embarrassing loss to Hilton Head have anything to do with the withdrawal?

I think we do a disservice about talking about a team that has withdrawn There are outstanding teams in the Palmetto Cup. I think Wando has a great opportunity to win it all.

Why do you have to say it was a embarrassing loss to Hilton Head they just played a great game and defensively shut pinewood down and no it has nothing to do with the fair loss to hilton head.

Would you like to enlighten all of us and end the innuendo about why Pinewood Prep would drop out on Saturday when the tournament starts Monday?

Maybe because they dont have enough players i dont know.

Looks like Greenville vs BC will decide who wins that easy Bracket. Group A is def the group of death in this tourney tough to choose who wins that one but I think NN will pull it out. Group B I will go with North Myrtle in 1st with Lexington in 2nd. I think NN will win the tourney, but im hoping an in state team will keep the trophy!!!
