The 2010 SCSIA State Championships will be held at USC's Stone Stadium on Saturday May 8th.Thanks to The Mens's and Women's Soccer Programs for their continued support of HS Soccer. Thanks to Heathwood Hall's Curtis Player for all his work in arranging this.

*Trinity Collegiate vs. Beaufort Academy
12:00 - Class A-AA Boys State Championship
*Thomas Sumter Academy vs. St. Andrew’s
3:00 - Class AAA Girls State Championship
*Cardinal Newman vs. Pinewood Prep
5:00 - Class AAA Boys State Championship
*Cardinal Newman vs. Pinewood Prep
* Indicates Home Team
 The Home Teams ( Trinity, Thomas Sumter & Cardinal Newman) shall wear white or light jerseys and stockings. The visiting teams shall wear dark jerseys and stockings.
 All Teams shall provide a written line-up to the PA.
 All teams shall provide game balls & ball runners to assist with the game.

I'm jealous......and angry!  Why can't the SCHSL girls play there on Friday, May 21? 
Kids play sports because they find it fun. Eliminate the fun and soon you eliminate the kid.

Congrats to both programs on making back to the finals..
Hope that alot of people would make it to the game. Great venue, strong teams, great rivalry.. Come cheer for the young men and women that have worked hard all year to get back to the finals for a rematch..

Couldnt have said it better Birch! The kids certainly deserve this venue and the enviorment!
Once again I would like to point out how accommodating the coaches at USC were in this process. Especially Coach Berson, he really wants these games(and HSL Championships) in the Graveyard.

wow, so schsl championship games are being played at memorial?
the size of pitch at the graveyard can bog down the girls game.

For some teams it would be considered an advantage, for others....perhaps not.

For those who got a chance to watch the game. The venue provided the perfect setting for this championship game.
Cardinal Newman gave us all we could have handle, great job by Will for preparing his team.. Cardinal Newman provided the greatest challenge that we've had in seven years we've reached the finals. Like last year, the game was filled with excitement and decisions that would be debated until the season rolls around again. Both Cardinal Newman and Pinewood had goals called back by the officials..
Both teams played there hearts out and the outcome inevitably had to be determined on PK's.. Thanks to all the fans that came out to support both teams..
