Halftime 7-0

I would like to apologize again to the coach and players of Chester High School. Due to a misunderstanding at halftime, scoring restrictions were lifted from the players.

Its a nice gesture, but I dont think you have to apoligize. This forum seems to be split on "running up the score".The more games I see playing keep away, the more I want to say," let em score."But that just aint right!

Your right forum is split on how to slow the running up and I think most hate the keep away aspect. If the bulk of the goals were scored by defenders playing up or bench players then you are right "let em score" but if the starters were still pouring it on in second half well....

I just do not understand the "half time" mistake. Is the coach saying that at no time during the second half he could get control of the game to tell his players he wanted scoring restrictions? Did he never put them in place?
