Who are some of the sleeper teams that will be good this year? Is Chapin still a 2A for this year or have they moved up yet?
Any standout players out their from the smaller ranks of 2A?

I think Andrew Jackson will be a strong force in lower state this year. We have a good group of seniors and a strong defense. We might not have the best skill at times but we fight and hustle for every ball.

An interesting note for the foes of Loris HS this year is that University of South Carolina football-signee, Jeremy Burgess, will be playing for the Lions this spring.

He's not the typical size of the prep soccer player, as Burgess lists his height as 6-5 and his weight at 270 pounds. He has been timed at 4.9 in 40-yards and currently bench presses 305 pounds.

Loris HS is a member of Region 7-2A along with Andrews, Aynor, Burke, Mullins, and Waccamaw.

I there's one thing i know about 2A soccer that is that Academic Magnet is the sickest team out there. I'll give you two reasons why this statement is true.
1) Cole Atkins is one of the best players in the State of SC let alone 2A. I know he could probably beat any team single handedly, but give the man a team to play with and it's over with. Nobody can touch Cole Atkins.
2) Cole's sister Sarah Atkins also attends Academic Magnet. I must say she's by far one of the hottest girls EVER! She'll probably attend the games so the other team will most likely be staring at her instead of playing.
With that said, all who will be playing against Academic Magnet be on the look out for Cole Atkins. Oh and if you see a hot girl on the sidelines, It's his sister and she's all MINE!!
