Because of the format for the '93 girls, the camp didn't have a holdover pool.
The players arrived Monday, played state v. state that night and Tuesday morning. Based on those games, Tuesday afternoon the players were sorted into one of three pools for training, games and evaluation. The pools were "A", "B" and "World Cup". "A" and "B" each included about 30 players each, and "World Cup" included the rest of the camp sorted into teams not based on state affiliation.
During the camp players could be moved by the coaches from one pool to another, up or down, with pool "A" being the top. Friday morning, after the traditional small-sided tournament, the players still in the "A" pool played one more game for evaluation and selection to the Region Team. Two players from SC were in the "A" pool for the final game, Megan Fish and Kelsey Orvin (both from Bridge and Pinewood Prep). I haven't heard the results or found the final team selections online.
Congratulations to all of the '93 players and to Coach Kerri Miller, who brought stability to the age group along with excellent training sessions and guidance during the games.
