No, the schedule is based on daily play/seeding. I am relying on information from Alabama.

I heard the 95's did very well at camp, their record was 2-1-1 as well. One of dads said that two of the boys (Calloway and Eggers) made the holdover camp.Other boys he mentioned was Jones ,Rider and Clark. Clark may have broke his foot or something and obviously cost him a shot.

Spoke with one of the NC coaches at camp who said the SC '96 Girls team may be the best SC group he's seen. They must be turning some heads.

The SC '93 Girls have had 3 players included for some amount of training and games in the "A" pool and 2 in the "B" pool. (There is an "A" pool, "B" pool, and rest of the players are scrambled... no state vs. state since Tuesday morning.)

Megan Fish, Bridge/Pinewood Prep, "A" pool
Kelsey Orvin, Bridge/Pinewood Prep, "A" pool
Devon Puckett, Charlotte United/York, "A" pool
Alexa Gainey, SCUFC/West Florence, "B" pool
Caroline Moore, CESA/Eastside, "B" pool

Fish and Orvin have participated in the "A" pool throughout the week.

Because of the format for the '93 girls, the camp didn't have a holdover pool.

The players arrived Monday, played state v. state that night and Tuesday morning. Based on those games, Tuesday afternoon the players were sorted into one of three pools for training, games and evaluation. The pools were "A", "B" and "World Cup". "A" and "B" each included about 30 players each, and "World Cup" included the rest of the camp sorted into teams not based on state affiliation.

During the camp players could be moved by the coaches from one pool to another, up or down, with pool "A" being the top. Friday morning, after the traditional small-sided tournament, the players still in the "A" pool played one more game for evaluation and selection to the Region Team. Two players from SC were in the "A" pool for the final game, Megan Fish and Kelsey Orvin (both from Bridge and Pinewood Prep). I haven't heard the results or found the final team selections online.

Congratulations to all of the '93 players and to Coach Kerri Miller, who brought stability to the age group along with excellent training sessions and guidance during the games.

Congratulations to DSC 95 Green Premier team members: Andrew Raad for selection to the 96 R3 team, and to Caleb Moore for his invitation to the U14 National Team Camp in August. Andrew Raad attended the U14 National Camp last year with the 96's.

Great job boys.
