Looking for some advice.

Trying to understand options for Middle School soccer (boys and girls) in South Carolina and specifically the lowcountry.

SCISA rules indicate the following grades and descriptions in the rules I found on scsoccer. Each classification has disclaimer about suitability of children in the lower grades and certainly understand this.
Varsity (grades 8-12)
Junior Varsity (grades 6-10)
B-Team (grades 5-8)

Would these guidelines hold true for Public Schools, and is there any organized competition available at B or lower level of JV? If so, how would a new school soccer program serving grades 6-8 get involved?

Any advice on timing, dates, websites, contacts appreciated. Feel free to send message via PM (Private Message) or email David Tunesi at president@cainhoyathletic.com
