OP soccerfan5 kick off S Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 39	USC wins 1-0 over UNCC. Blake Brettschnider scores in 1st half. Game delayed in 2nd half due to lightening, rain & wind. Restarted - Blake injured (knee). USC has three out with season ending injuries: Vance Benson - broken tibia/fibia, Eric Martinez - ruptured Achilles tendon, Mike Lindsey - broken nose, dislocated ankle, broken fibia.

From the first minute of the game where he stopped a great header....to an great 2nd half (of course I'm a little partial to keepers) How USC competes at this level with so many injuries is beyond me.
