I really hope CCU can get by Duke, because the CCU vs USC match needs to happen!

USC (12-6-2) will host Duke at 2 p.m., on Sunday at Stone Stadium in Columbia, S.C. ... The Blue Devils (10-5-4) edged Coastal Carolina (12-7-2), 2-1, at Koskinen Stadium in Durham, N.C., tonight ... The Gamecocks are the #7 National Seed in the Men's College Cup.

On the other side of the South Carolina bracket, fellow Conference USA member Central Florida routed in-state rival South Florida, 3-0, in Orlando, Fla., during First Round action ... UCF will travel to Ann Arbor, Mich., to take on Big 10 power and #10 National Seed Michigan (14-4-3) on Sunday.

Hope to see you at The Graveyard this weekend and remember that you can watch the match live online at GamecocksOnline.com!

What a finish! ... Outstanding resilience shown by the Gamecocks ... The match was very chippy as nearly 50 fouls were called and eight cautions issued - it was start-and-go all game ... Bradlee Baladez slotted home the match winner on a super pass from JP Rafferty with 59 seconds remaining in the first overtime session to send the Gamecocks to the Sweet 16 for the first time since USC advanced to the National Championship match vs. Virginia in 1993 ... Duke ended its season at 10-6-4 after earning a 2-1 win vs. Coastal Carolina in the NCAA First Round on Thursday ... South Carolina, a #7 national seed, will more than likely host #10 national seed Michigan (15-4-3) on Sunday, November 28 ... The Wolverines defeated Central Florida 2-1 in overtime at Ann Arbor this afternoon ... Kickoff will more than likely be at 2 p.m., on Sunday at Stone Stadium ... The Gamecocks are now 13-6-2 overall ... This marks USC's 19th NCAA Tournament appearance and first postseason NCAA victory since 1998.

Great job for the Gamecocks to pull that one out and advance to play Michigan! Should be an awesome game next Sunday at Stone Stadium.

I cant believe that jimmy maurer's preformance has not been brought up. What a game. He made two world class saves in the first half to keep USC in the game. IF there is a college GK better than him I would like to see him.

I have seen A LOT of USC soccer games/teams, he might be the best GK they have had over there and thats saying a lot.
