Anyone been before and have anything to say about value of event?

I think it started around 10 last year and yes it's a all day event..
My daughter has been three times and it is well worth the money..Lunch and some kind of gear from addidas and soccer games all day ending with a question and answer session with several college coaches..If you are looking for contacts this is a good event to attend..At least four coaches have shown an interest in my daughter that saw her play last year..

On the girls side seems like a lot of schools (including out of state 2 SEC, and 1 Big Ten)but no USC, Clemson, COFC, or Coastal? Do these schools not look at instate players through an event like this? Have often seen the questions asked about why the big schools do not get more local talent guess this is a manifestation those questions. Still looks like a good chance for the players to get seens and learn about the process. In fact I would think for the younger players learning the "process" might be more important.

Anyway thanks for the info! Sounds like it might be worth the trip.

Chief,
Those schools usually make the combine and I'm sure the list will continue to grow. There are several players from each of those schools that have SC connections.

Would guess you are right but it is just about a month out on something CESA has planned for a year. Just thought these schools would be some of the first to jump on the local college showcase. I guess these schools likely already know the talent pool here and know who they "need" to see. From a PR stand point it just seems to me that these schools would be waving the flag a little more at the local events.
I mean from a business stand point if you were trying to fill your summer camps would'nt you get out in the local area and get the players who are most likely to come to the camps to see you as possibley intrested in them?

Gotta credit CESA for giving the kids the chance to be seen locally.
