Christ Church @ TL Hanna
Hanna 0:6 Christ Church

Hanna boys feeling the effects of their coach's over-eagerness to play some of the best teams in the upstate. Their attitudes are awesome though and I think we will come out of the preseason knowing what it will take to compete with this level of competition.

Mauldin was without two Starting attacking players and on top of that we were honestly outworked. Hats off to Eastside, they will do well if they play at that level every night.

Northwestern 0
Nation Ford 0

Heard it was a good, even, well-played game. Any other feedback from anyone?

Saw both teams last weekend, and spoke at length with a Nation Ford assistant. They were missing much of the MF in the 4-2 loss to Wando. Northwestern is more problematic -- a well-coached team with a great winning tradition, but perhaps down a notch or two on talent. The only goal they scored vs. wando was an absolute gift. That and a shutout vs. NF make me wonder how much scoring they will do.

Coach, I was very impressed with Eastside when we played them. Work rate is excellent, organization is excellent, and they can finish.

TL Hanna at Woodruff
Hanna 5:0 Woodruff

I love playing at Woodruff's soccer complex and it was great catching up with Coach Barnhill who assisted Coach Smith when I was a young player at Hanna...

was at the NF vs NW game thursday night... northwestern had better chances than nafo but couldn't put them away. northwestern definitely lacks much of the talent that they have had in the past, but they are one of the hardest working teams i have ever seen and that alone will take them deep into the playoffs
