Interesting that the Academy teams get to play some games in the stadium, but the high school tournament didn't play one match last weekend in the stadium.

Is the North Meck team wearing Toronto FC's kit?

Kids play sports because they find it fun. Eliminate the fun and soon you eliminate the kid.

It would be great to see the Battery absorb the SCUFC Academy program under their banner and control. Would certainly give more credence to the youth team and a great S.C. community move by the Battery. Any chance this could happen?

Unfortunately there was a C of C baseball and Softball tournament the same weekend as the Raising Cane's Carolina Classic. For safety reasons (foul balls occasionally land on the soccer field) we were not allowed to play matches in the stadium.
