I must say i never knew there were professionals that specialized in the nature of High School. Didn't know that was a college option that students should keep open now

I am assuming these are all offensive players?
Defense gets no respect.

I think if these rankings were expanded to the top 50-60 they'll make it. Weekly calculations are done and the rankings are posted.

Waka: you are out of your mind for not having Ricardo Gabanzo "Ricky" as your number 1. He deserves it and has proven it. Also, Kevin Ray should be up there.

Congrats to Hart Zwing and Matt Hilton. It's about time some of the outstanding Lower State players get some respect. Keep it up boys!

Furthermore, if you want to cut down on crime in your community, start passing out RC Colas, Rolos, and Moonpies!

Sadly, US soccer is all about bought-and-paid-for lists of the next flavor-of-the-month.

Hart Zwing is not a quality player that can compete at the next level. Seiverding, Nestor, and Bebee will be able to play at the next level no doubt

Hart has always been a scrappy type of player. He may bring a different attitude or bring some energy to a team at the next level. It will be interesting to see if he makes it on the field at Furman.

The best?
With respect to all, NOBODY in high school soccer this state stands head-and-shoulders above a cadre of about 30 of his peers. We have a lot of good young players. Each brings strengths (and weaknesses) to the table -- otherwise, they wouldn't be playing high school soccer.
Why must we continually anoint "the best"? Or the "next great American player"? We persist in this nonsense. For reference, see Freddy Adu. (If you can find him.)

I definitely think that Julian Scholz from Union County High School deserves some recognition for next week considering we played two games this week and he had two hat tricks. He plays Center Forward.

Congrats to the young man but Chester is 0-6 and Blue Ridge is 1-7. I don't think either team is playing much defense.

We'll pack our bags and come see this young man play and see if he deserves a spot in the upcoming weeks.

Make sure you stop at Shady's and get some wings!
Best spot in town, best wings in Union County!

Very true about the Defense but still, he has 8 goals on the season so far. UC is 4-0 and 2-0 in the region. He has most of the assist as well. He has very good footwork and he hustles the whole game. Just putting his name out there.

I just want to give a shout out to Daniel Zeremba and Skyler Lightbody. Two fabulous freshman for South Aiken. Zee had Lexington midfielders running everywhere with nothing doing. If only they knew he was so young
