10 years ago neither of these two teams would have even sniffed the playoff round of VK.

Common denominator? Michael Young.

I am not taking a thing away from the current coaches...they are both doing a great job with their teams but Michael got both schools believing they could do this.

THANK YOU! Spring Valley High School and the Girls' Soccer Program would like to thank all of the teams, parents, coaches, fans, and other supporters who attended this year's event (especially for your patience and understanding on such a rainy Saturday!).

A Special Thanks to the Taco Bell Viking Cup Committee and all of the other parents, Spring Valley Students, and other volunteers who annually help make this great event possible! GREAT JOB!

And finally, another SPECIAL THANK YOU to all of our community sponsors who help add so much to this event year after year! Please know without the financial backing of Taco Bell and the donation of fields by South Carolina United FC, we would not be able to host such a grand and sizable event!

THANK YOU AGAIN AND SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!

Could MV be next?
