Just referring to their movement in the SCHSSCA rankings. I wouldn't bad mouth my daughters' alma mater and the school in whose attendance area I reside.

I have been watching from the sidelines for a while. This is my first post. I am not sure how the "REAL DEAL" poll works but it seems to look very similar to the BCS football poll. Teams ranked on reputation rather than results.
Lets look at the results of the "REAL DEAL" top 10 against each other.

2. Wando (win) Irmo, Woodruff) / (Loss) HHI(pks)
3. Mauldin (win) None / (Loss) Riverside(pks)

Even though more in tune to boys, would have to agree with Hilton Head Tony a bit, pks or no pks. A W against Wando should count pretty heavy in the rankings. Also looks like quality win against West Ashley. This is a team everyone should be aware of. They play very solid soccer.

I am aware of the "official" status of those games due to the lack of two five minute overtimes. However, both teams were given the same amount of players(11), regulation time(2x40 min halfs) and penalty kick tries. One team made more of those pks and the other made less. One moved on and the other did not. I know you are reffering to that as a tie with one team advancing. I would personally call the team that advanced the winner. For whatever it's worth.
