I like it. If form holds, you have the winner of the Lowerstate semi-final, between St. James and Brookland-Cayce, playing Nation Ford for the 3A state title!

In comparison to the last REAL DEAL-TOP 10-Week 5 Rankings, the following teams have dropped out of the TOP 10:

Irmo - loss to Lexington
TL Hanna - majority of wins over weaker opponents
Hilton Head - multiple losses
Christ Church - 6-0 loss to Cardinal Newman
Swansea - multiple losses
Pinewood Prep - majority of wins over weaker opponents

Irmo falls out of the top 10 after losing to #3 Lexington in OT and defeating Blythewood who moved into the top 10??

So let me get this straight, you're changing the rankings? Come on man! Does the BCS just magically change the fate of college football because Coach P says so? Does People magazine change J-Lo from the hottest woman on the planet to Megan Fox because I think she should be? Did the judge over rule the jury because it was obvious that OJ was guilty? What kind of backbone do these rankings even have!??

With wins on the road at #3 and #9, a neutral site victory over #6, and a neutral site tie with #10, why is Spring Valley not in the discussion?

TJ, the rankings are shadier than the BCS, but a tad more democratic. Sit down a minute, tell me what you really think...

JB, Spring Valley's RECENT wins haven't been over quality opponents, but they do have a win streak going that was noted.

This poll looks at recent form and quality wins. An oversight was made in a head to head match vs Irmo and Blythewood that was deserving of a change. Thanks to Coach P for that.

Actually, the BCS might change the rankings if Coach P recommended it. I'm not sure if he's ever tried.

Ha, ha! But I didn't recommend changing them. Just questioned them. Who do I contact to question the BCS?
