Seriously irmosoccer...you had to go there? Please keep remarks like that to yourself! Don't act superior...just cheer for your team and hope that the best team wins.

Soccerboy...it's okay...I don't have any one team that I follow or cheer for.

IrmoSoccer4Life...I'm just jealous of the tradition

1st round Lexington vs Spring Valley. i know lex beat sv pretty decent last time they played them but keep in mind sv was missing 5 starters and were still getting in the flow of the season. i just hope lexington doesnt think this is going to be a cake walk and think they can run over SV because if anyone saw the SV/IRMO game the other night, it was a pretty close game all the way through. few time irmo looked very panicky when the game was 0-0. SV can play with anyone so.

no game is an expected win. this goes to all teams ( Irmo, NW, Lexington, Wando, etc) thinkin they can just run over a lower seed.

3 interesting 1st round games in 3A Upper State

Travelers Rest @ Fort Mill (winner advance to round of 8)
Wade Hampton @ South Pointe (winner advance to round of 8)
Nation Ford @ Greenville (winner has a rematch w/ Walhalla)

Probable Daniel @ Eastside rematch in 2nd round (see if Daniel can score 3 goals on only 6 shots again). Either region II is not that good this year or Eastside has been playing possum outside of region play. I am thinking the latter.

Lot of parity in upstate, but I will predict:
Fort Mill v Eastside
Walhalla v Wade Hampton

Lower State looks like:

A.C. Flora v B-C
Chapin v Myrtle Beach

Both of these should be barn burners.

Ultimately I think Eastside v Chapin in Columbia.

eastside is straight, but i think fort mill will make it to columbia

Don't discount Nation Ford or South Pointe. But agree, 3A has a great deal of parity and should be interesting.

BC has to go to Socastee---that may be a shocker!
